Providence Farm is a family-run dairy at Beechmont, in the Gold Coast hinterland of Queensland, run by the McKenzie family, Greg, Wendy and son Danny. It is one of the few remaining dairy farms in the hinterland, with a herd of Jersey cows milked each morning. Visitors are welcome to see the working farm, and the family is known for being warm about sharing how they care for their animals.
The farm produces unpasteurised cow's and goat's milk, labelled and sold as bath milk, along with cream. Its bath milk is recognisable by its blue label and the cow-in-a-bathtub artwork, and it is stocked at a number of independent outlets across the Gold Coast and Brisbane as well as at the farm.
People in the Gold Coast hinterland after farm-fresh Jersey bath milk and cream straight from a small working dairy, or a farm visit.
A working farm rather than a shopfront. Contact Providence Farm for farm-gate availability and the off-farm outlets that stock its bath milk.
