About

The Red Stag Deer and Emu Farm is a 375-acre working farm at Eurobin, set high above Victoria's Ovens Valley in the alpine high country near Bright and Myrtleford. It began in 1992 as a tourist farm and coffee shop and has grown into a restaurant, function centre, gift shop and farm-stay, while still running as a genuine livestock farm.

The farm is home to red deer, elk (wapiti) and fallow deer, plus emus, ostriches, pigs and goats, and produces its own venison, emu, ostrich and goat meat. The well-stocked farm shop sells venison products alongside homewares and gifts, and the hillside restaurant — with one of the best valley views around — runs a menu built on emu and venison, supplemented with fish, chicken and pork. Visitors can also feed and meet the animals.
