About
Maggie Beer's Farm Shop sits at Pheasant Farm on the edge of Nuriootpa, in South Australia's Barossa Valley — the family property Maggie and Colin Beer have farmed for more than 40 years. The shop is the home of Maggie Beer's well-known gourmet range, from pâtés and quince paste to verjuice, relishes and ice cream, alongside Colin Beer's wines, Pheasant Farm wines, orchard ciders, spirits, cookbooks and kitchenware.
It's as much a destination as a shop. The on-site farm café serves coffee and cake or a glass of wine with cheese, there are Pheasant Farm wine tastings, a cooking school, and farm walks around the dam where native turtles and birdlife gather. Daughter Elli runs The Eatery on the property, and the Orchard House cottage offers an overnight stay among the olive grove and orchard.
