Gold Coast Organic Meats is an Australian Certified Organic (ACO) butchery at Mermaid Waters, in the Waterways Shopping Centre. It was started by master butcher Jeff Grace, who had spent more than three decades in the trade and ran a butchery at Pottsville before opening here with the aim of bringing genuinely certified organic Australian meat to the Gold Coast.
The shop is described as the only ACO certified organic butchery on the coast. It carries certified organic beef, lamb, pork and chicken, along with dairy and some fresh produce, so shoppers can do a full organic meat and grocery shop in one place. It opens seven days, with early starts through the week for local trade.
